WHO IS “AMG”?

Amber Marie Green (AMG) has captured some of Chicago’s most iconic figures, events, and stories, such as Chicago's most recent and present Mayors. As the lead photographer of Amber Marie Green Photography, she translates the art of storytelling through her lens in a manner that leaves lasting memories and subjective thoughts. Amber's photography skills are multifaceted (portraits, product, events, property, fine art, sports, etc.). Her work has been seen in major publications such as Good Morning American, The Today Show, E! News, Forbes, Ebony, Rolling Out, Black Enterprise, Chicago Tribune, Suntimes Newspaper, Chicago Voyage, and many others. She served as the Media Director Blue1647 Tech Incubator and Innovation Center where her team and herself spearheaded the “New Normal” campaign that won the Innovation Award and rung the open bell for NASDAQ. She then became Program Director for Workforce Development which catalyzed her passion to accurately capture and digitize the stories surrounding the backbone of Chicago, it's people.

As an International Photographer, Amber also utilizes her gift of photography to galvanize communities that are severely under resourced and often inaccurately portrayed. She unapologetically calls out media outlets through the use of her camera to get in front of their ill portrayed narrative concerning people of color and the undeserved.  Those who are close to Amber knows her passion for story-telling is fueled by her love God, humanity, and her purpose.
